Your home at Jungle Bay
Stay in a private bungalow surrounded by tropical greenery. Your 400-square-foot Villa Room includes a bathroom with walk-in shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a mini-refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, and an outdoor patio.
Private garden-view room: $3,999 per person.
Partial ocean-view upgrade: an additional $210 for six nights ($4,209 total), subject to availability and final resort confirmation. Views may be partly screened by tropical vegetation.
A week of nature, culture and connection
This proposed retreat flow draws on Kay Jones’s Dominica experience, with room for local stories and unhurried time together. The final schedule and activities will be confirmed with our local partners.
Day 1 · Arrive & settle in
Travel through Dominica’s lush landscapes to Jungle Bay, settle into your private room, and connect with the group over a welcome dinner.
Day 2 · Discover Jungle Bay
Explore the edible gardens, learn about local herbs and tea-making, and discover the stories behind the resort and its connection to the island.
Day 3 · Island culture & Caribbean flavors
Enjoy a slower day with a Caribbean cooking experience, conversation and time to relax on the property.
Day 4 · Rainforest & waterfalls
A proposed guided excursion to Emerald Pool, Jacko Falls and Spanny Falls introduces you to Dominica’s lush landscapes, with time to take in the sights along the way.
Day 5 · Trafalgar Falls
Visit Dominica’s iconic twin waterfalls, then return for a relaxed afternoon at Jungle Bay.
Day 6 · Make space for the story
An unhurried day for enjoying the property, reflecting on the week and connecting with fellow travelers, followed by a farewell dinner.
Day 7 · Until next time
Breakfast, goodbyes and departure.
Itinerary is provisional and may change with weather, availability and local conditions. Hot springs, kayaking and Titou Gorge are not part of this retreat.
