Escape to the Jungle: A Look Inside Dominica's Best Resort
My Visit to Jungle Bay Resort in Dominica
If you've never heard of Dominica, you're probably not alone. It's a small Caribbean island that sometimes gets confused with the Dominican Republic, but the two are very different places.
Dominica is known as the Nature Island of the Caribbean, and once you see the mountains, rainforests, and waterfalls, it's pretty easy to understand why.
I spent a week on the island filming at Jungle Bay Dominica, an eco-resort located near Soufrière on Dominica's southern coast. And one of the things that immediately interested me about this property was how much of the natural environment is incorporated into the resort itself.
Filming Jungle Bay
I originally traveled to Dominica to film a women's wellness retreat at Jungle Bay Dominica. While I was there, I also had the opportunity to produce a promotional film showcasing the resort and its beautiful surroundings.
Between the hillside villas, tropical gardens, food, and surrounding landscapes, there was no shortage of opportunities to capture the resort and its connection to nature.
What interested me most was that Jungle Bay wasn't simply a hotel surrounded by trees. The natural environment is a major part of the experience the resort offers its guests.
The promotional film featured here was created to give viewers a closer look at the property and what they can expect from a stay at Jungle Bay.
And if you're someone who enjoys exploring nature destinations, Dominica is certainly an island worth learning more about.
